How We Do It
How First Response do motor finance
We’re aware that finance isn’t the most exciting of topics but it is the way we do it. At First Response we believe we’re a little different from your standard finance company and our reviews back us up.
If you’ve heard our radio advertising you should recognise the music as being based on Montell Jordan’s hit ‘This is How We Do It’ which we believe fits perfectly with what we’re all about. How we do it is by looking after our customers and doing what’s best for you.
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Petrol max mileage of 120,000
- Diesel max mileage of 160,000
- £2,000 - £10,000 lend
- 24 - 60 month agreement
We try to be as flexible as possible with our vehicle finance so no matter whether you’re getting a car, bike or van, we want to help you as much as possible.
We only have certain criteria: your age, the maximum mileage and we need to be able to see your income.
Once you’ve applied one of our team will give you a call to find out what you’re looking for and try to help in any way, whether that’s offering a list of dealers for you to use or advising on vehicles.
Make sure you read our pros and cons of finance and make yourself familiar with the Hire Purchase product. If you’ve got all of the information you need you can apply using the link below.

External help & debt management
We would always advise customers to research their options and choices before applying for any type of credit. If you are struggling with debt, we advise you not to take on additional debt, but first seek independent advice. All finance applications are subject to status.
