Andy Shim (Shimy as he likes to be called), whose most recent film was the British smash hit ‘THIS IS ENGLAND’ (Winner of The Best British Film Award at the 2008 BAFTAs), has this season switched his attention from acting to motorbike racing…

Shimy 24, from Nottingham (pictured right) has acted alongside a whole host of stars over the past few years; Paddy Considine (The Bourne Ultimatum), Robert Carlyle (James Bond - The World is not Enough), Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) and Ricky Tomlinson (The Royal Family) to name just a few, Andy was also cast in the well known ‘Orange’ advert for their
pay-as-you-go ‘Reserve Tank’ product.

Not only an accomplished actor, Andy Shim won two out of his four races and consistently finished within the top ten in last seasons Sound of Thunder Championship, and now he is looking forward to a full season of racing in the 2008 Triumph Triple Challenge.

Shimy Says: “Working alongside such talented actors has been an amazing achievement;
However, being given the opportunity to pursue my real passion in racing is amazing, however this would have not been possible without the help
and support of First Response Finance.
Being a racer; I know how hard it is to
secure any form of help so I intend on
utilising my success in acting and my
skills in racing to increase First Response
business in the motorcycle industry”
